Capricorn New Moon. Leo Full Moon. Yeah. The sky is being a diva.

I stole forth dimly in the dripping pause 
Between two downpours to see what there was.
And a masked moon had spread down compass rays
To a cone mountain in the midnight haze,
As if the final estimate were hers;
And as it measured in her calipers,
The mountain stood exalted in its place
So love will take between the hands a face….

We have been in a pattern where natural rhythms feel out of sync. With a Capricorn new moon, the expected flow would place the full moon in Cancer. Instead, an inversion has occurred. The Cancer full moon has already passed, and now we arrive at the potent beginning of a season, only for the Sun to move on shortly after. This creates a sensation of being blown off course by a hurricane, blending energies that are typically adversarial, while simultaneously pulling us back into the past.
